FUTURE PERFECT: Commission for Leeds artists

The Space have an opportunity open to creatives who live, work, study or have a significant connection with Leeds.

Alongside their partners at Leeds23, Sky Arts and Studio12, they are looking to fund and support five artists or organisations to create short films to appear on Sky Arts. Up to £7,500 is available per commission and artists/filmmakers are invited to explore ideas of ‘Future Perfect: What's worth fighting for?’ within their work. Full production support can be provided, if needed, and they welcome applications from all sections of the community.

Here are the key points:

* Opportunity for Leeds based artists to have work featured on Sky Arts

* Applicants can apply for up to £10k to create a short-form film

* Applicants should be living, working or studying in Leeds or the wider LS postcode, or have another significant connection to the area

* They are inviting artists to explore and explode ideas of ‘freedom’

* Bespoke production support will be provided to help produce the projects.
