Bafta Rocliffe TV Drama 2023

It's BAFTA Rocliffe time again!

The TV Drama window has now opened and the deadline for submission is 5pm on Monday 18th of September.

The three winners of the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Initiative will receive a fantastic industry showcase with professional actors and directors, as well as access to industry introductions, bespoke masterclasses, and a tailored career planning and profile building session. The purpose of this prize is to provide successful writers with support in navigating their writing career in the industry.

Shortlisted writers whose work makes it to the final stages will benefit from being announced on the Rocliffe newsletter and on the event handout available on the BAFTA website.

To apply, writers must complete the application form and submit :

• Script title

• A short synopsis

• Series Treatment

• Character breakdown

• A ten page extract of the script

• An introduction to the extract

• An episode guide for the series.
